It’s essential to arrive in Cusco at least one or two days before the tour to allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude. This will reduce the risk of discomfort and enhance your experience during the hike to Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain.
It’s advisable to wear warm clothing, as temperatures can be chilly, especially in the mornings. It’s also suggested to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, gloves, a hat, and plenty of water, as the hike will be at high altitude and the conditions may be challenging.
The hike to Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain is short and easy, ideal for those seeking a less demanding experience. With a distance of just 1 km and a gentle ascent, it allows you to enjoy incredible Andean landscapes at over 4,900 meters above sea level without requiring much physical effort.
Altitude can cause dehydration more quickly than usual, so it’s essential to carry enough water and drink it regularly to avoid any altitude-related discomfort.
If the passenger cancels their reservation at least 48 hours in advance, a penalty of 50% of the total tour cost will be applied.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time carry a 100% penalty, with no refund.
In the event of strikes, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control that prevent the tour from taking place, we will be flexible and reschedule the tour to a date that is most convenient for the passenger, subject to availability.
If the client does not show up at the established time and meeting point, it will be considered a no show and will lose 100%
